Looks can be deceiving, Anonymous!

Yes, I love that one. I've had it for years, in a book of Leuning I was given when I was a young man.
He's very good and still producing great drawings. There seems to be a problem in Australia with American drones that i wasn't aware of...

Perhaps you could print off a copy of the pedestal Leunig and hang it around your neck.

Can you explain your interpretation of this comment please Anonymous?

:-)

Anonymous said...

Sure. I think it would look pretty on you.

I've been trying to work out from your manner what your occupation is, Anonymous. I think I've got it - you're a fashion consultant? Am I close? Interior designer? Hair stylist?
Give me another clue.

My guess, given Anon's eye for the aesthetic, something in retail, like Mr Humphries in Are You Being Served.

Close Suz. Robert, fishing for information again. Do you know the occupation of Suz?
Why is my occupation important?

robertguyton said...

Suz is a private eye who does stand-up comedy.
You're a cockie.

I am.

Scandal. Somebody deleted my post and entered a new one. Did you do that Robert?

robertguyton said...

That is a scandal, Anonymous! I'll look into it. What did your comment say? Are you sure you pressed 'Publish your comment'?

100% sure it was posted. I checked it at least twice after I posted it. The wording changed slightly and the meaning changed completely. Before you suggest I simply typed it wrong it was impossible for me post at 10.51. Literally impossible. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and I noticed you didn't answer my question so I will ask it again. Did you change this comment Robert? Fair question I think. I hope for an honest answer.

Anonymous, whichever Anonymous you might be - you know full-well the use of 'anonymous' has created confusion on these threads. That you comment and one by 'Anonymous' has become confused has to be sheeted, I believe, to that issue. My suggestion, chose a psuedonym and stick to it. Then I'll be able to track any discrepancies and know whether the fault lay with you or with someone else. That's as fair as I can be.You could play your part, were you wanting to come out a little from behind you facade of innocence and anonymity.

Fair enough Robert.

Robert,
I will make the question easier for you. Did you delete a comment "Am I?" and replace it with "I am". There can't be any confusion around that. Surely?
