The message has gone out...

The message has gone out. Greens are a sensible and realistic threat to the looting of New Zealand.

The RWNJ media (That's you Keeping Stock, Homepaddock, Kiwiblog, Whale Oil) have been told to:

Endlessly repeat these memes, “the Greens are unrealistic, communist and loony”.

It sure looks that way. I think that Keeping Stock and Homepaddock are republishers, rather than publishers and as such I don't consider them to be real media. All they do is repeat, KS is often particularly bereft of his own content and tends to rely heavily on cut and paste to provide substance.
I've visited kiwiblog once in the last two years and whaleoil not at all. That suits me fine for whaleoil, kiwiblog I would like to visit less frequently. However, I cannot comment on their content.
Your overall point, or KJT's point, is correct enough, but it only shows part of the picture. There is also the "portray National in a positive light" aspect. Thus we get stuff like "the economy is picking up" (as it does from the bottom of depressions, no thanks to the government in this instance) and "fewer people are going to Australia" (down from a National-created record high), which need to be noted for the claptrap they are, to keep the government on the ropes.

Yes, that's quite true, AC. Bill English is particularly keen on spinning any slight slowing of the downward spiral as 'picking up'.
It's quite an effective strategy, done over and over. They hate it when the likes of Russel hold up the 'Emperor-revealing' mirror. I can hear Key squealing, "Give me back my clothes. Give me back my clothes'.

"Give me back my clothes, give me back me clothes".
Brilliant. If I'd been drinking coffee at the time, it would have spurted out my nose when I read that.
The other aspect of this that really stands out is the number of people who have sprung up to rebut Norman, and the method of rebuttal. The message seems to be "you are undoing the good work you've been doing recently, so stop what you're doing". Sometimes that can be good advice. But when it's coming from such a broad range of right wing commentators, it need to be seen for what it is. I'm still to see negative comment from anyone who usually has the Greens best interests at heart. I reckon this "Key = Muldoon" is a leaf out of the RWNJ attack book and has been recognised for what it is - a real and present threat to the credibility of Key, and therefore a risk to Nationals chances of reelection. Thus the focus on Norman.
Fingers crossed Sheared is using the down time to get his act together. Chances? Quite low.

Has he been out in the traps, talking to folks? If so, his time will not have been wasted. Winston did it and it worked a treat for him. It's actual votes you need, gathered one by one if necessary. The glitz of the Leaders' Debates aren't where it will be won this time around, is my prediction. If Shearers been wearing out shoe-leather, he'll be gaining.

I was expecting, based on the timing of the release of the findings of the inquiry that saw Dunne get done, that parliament would not be sitting this week. But it is. Woohoo! Let's see how much hell the devil-beasts (and Winston) can raise. If Shearer has got it together, he has a massive opportunity to show it this week.

I'll be tuning-in tomorrow.
Sadly, Pete's gone to ground and won't be there to field questions. I guess that'll fall to Mr Key. He'll be Prime Ministerial, is my guess. No calling anyone "Devil Beast" is my guess. He'll have to play measured and sensible, now that Dunne's proved that he aint.

He'll be Prime Ministerial? Surely you jest. Why would he start now? He's survived five years without showing a hint of Prime Ministerialness.

He'll have slipped on his PM mask and adjusted his voice to suit. Steven Joyce will take over the 'Mr Snarky' role.
