When you look at most new listings, there is an initial peak due to the hype and then the share price slumps back. Shares should always be purchased on a mid to long term view. MRP over say 5 years should provide good value, especially when capital growth and dividends are counted together.
The real test of the price, that you helpfully don't mention, is the volume traded.
