The Dotcom white papers and Gerrit's wager

I've bet two sacks of spuds that Kim Dotcom will release material that is damning to John Key, this week, in the form of a white paper. It'll "rupture Key's blue balloon" or words to that effect, I've boldly claimed. There are two bags of potatoes riding on my headstrong claim, so I'm hoping Mr Dotcom comes up with the goodies, or I'll be donating to the local food bank, which is no bad thing of course, but a lesson about making bets publicly. Gerrit, of course, will do likewise, should Key's pretty blue balloon make deflating sounds.

A couple of questions, Robert. You and Kim Dotcom are hardly ideological bedfellows, unlike Dotcom and Key. Do you think you can rely soon him?
Riverton is surely too small a community to need a foodbank, isn't it? I knew things were bad in the cities, has it spread to the small towns?

So, that would make it three questions.

Mr Dotcom and I are poles-apart, AC. I made my wager (metaphorical initially, but under pressure from gerrit, actual eventually) based upon my belief that Dotcom is so well provisioned with money and lawyers that he is capable of having found the evidence he claims to have and the strategy to have it used effectively, rather than be deflected/buried. Riverton does have a food bank and it is utilized. I suspect every small town in NZ has one. Why does that surprise you? My daughter Hollie raised all sorts of support and supplied it with food while she was still at highschool, as have others here.

I'm imagining something like this, only with potatoes. Would two bags really be enough?

My reading of the dotcom thing is that Mr Dotcom does not object to what Mr Key is doing, he merely objects to it being done to him.
With regard to a foodbank in Riverton, I don't know why. Perhaps I thought we were a better country than that. That we cared about our most vulnerable people enough to not use an economic system to the extent that they would need a foodbank. Clearly I was wrong.

Perhaps if they were voluminous sacks, Joe.
How did you stumble upon that clip? 17+ stones on one side, a multitude on the other. I was surprised that the diamonds were 'boxed'. Mr DC would require my entire spud harvest, I'm sure.

AC - I guess I'm enjoying the spectacle of two leviathans scrapping. Key's diminutive, relatively and physically, but he can call on hefty resources (and I don't mean Gerry).
