9:45 Emma Griffin Dr Emma Griffin lectures on social and economic history at the University of East Anglia. She is the author of three books, including A Short History of the British Industrial Revolution (Palgrave, ISBN: 9780230579262), and is working on a history of working-class life during the industrial revolution. She is a council member for the Royal Historical Society and joint-editor of the journal of the Historical Association.
