And in that garden...

A couple of photos from my morning's wander among the fruit trees; the first plum blossom and an exhausted seed pod from a Cape Honey Flower, but first the news:
A cattle beast has broken through my fence, trampled over much of the vegetable garden and eaten my kale crop!
Can't say, swine, 'cause it's bovine, but had I been on the ground at the same time the beast was hoofing up my beautiful soil, I'd have found the appropriate words alright!
The steer, for steer I believe the beast was, left behind one single pat to compensate for the lost kale crop - one! Miserable animal. There is no sign of the beast now and that's just as well. A chase with stick in hand would only have created more damage and frightened my family.
