The observations of an observant Southlander
I was quite taken by the wind blasted Macrocarpa in Southland. The wind blasted Macrocarpa capital of the world.
There'sw no place quite like it. 'Course they ain't natural, like.
No, they ain't, but they are still part of our landscapes now and should be treasured in my opinion. They are also quite useful to quite a few estuarine bird species for nesting. Good weather vanes too! (if only one direction).
Kiaora Robert, kei hea Tihaka?
Tena koe wildcrafty. Kei te Takutai o te Titi ki te taha o Te Ara a Kewa. He wahi pai tera.
Kei hoki te taha o Oraka? Te ahua nei, he wahi pai ki te kau. Heoi ano, kaore ki roto tetahi hau tonga ;-)
