I write another blog, or rather, post photographs on a blog uncluttered with politics and the like. I've titled it, "Pretty Ordinary Things".
The reason I've mentioned it now, is because I received a very encouraging comment from an Australian artist who somehow stumbled across Pretty Ordinary Things, liked my photo of a cabbage tree flower, and said so. It's surprising what praise will do.
Here's his comment (spell-checked). I've copied it here to counter some of the negative criticism I've been attracting of late, from the dairy industry :-)
"I definitely would not call this ordinary. These photos are beautiful and very talented. Even the shadow from the dog is brilliant. Greetings from Australia. Thank you for sharing."

I agree... I love your photos Rob but cringe that you are a John key lover .. love and hate are =
separate your talent with your obsession and you will get more hits

Good point Sue. In fact, I have little feeling for the guy. He plays his part and is but one of many bound by the ideology that I don't support. It is fun though, to use the figure as a focus for amusement - the mincing, the 3-way-handshake...
I'll try.
