Keeping Stock - skittery as a wee mousey

The most hilarious moment at the Local Government NZ meeting I attended on Wednesday in Dunedin was hearing the keynote speaker telling the assembled mayors, deputies, chairs and councillors, to prepare themselves for a Government that included the Greens. One of my fellow councillors is, like Keeping Stock, highly reactive and allergic to 'green' and must have taken a huge gulp of air so as not to pass out at the news that the Greens will be shaping our future after the election, if they're not doing that already. Keeping Stock, as mentioned, fizzes and froths as the moment where his greatest fear is realised draws closer and closer but today he broke down completely and entered the realms of pure fantasy, tinged with a little blue-paranoia, and wrote this silly post. I only link to it here because he mentions me, assigning far more credit than I deserve (not the pedestal, KS, please!). I don't recommend you bother reading his post but if you must, do leave a comment there - I'm banned from making comment on his blog, because of my ill-manners, I'm informed.

Ah well Robert; you shouldn't leave provocative comments lying around then, should you...

But thanks for the boost to traffic!

Provocative? I'll give you provocative!
Always :-)
Of course, it only takes the word 'green' to provoke you, or the phrase 'three-way handshake', or 'the Prime Mincer'. You're easily provoked. I don't mind your post at all, KS. It's a good example of your 'jumping the shark'.

I read it, its no more bias than most of your blogs.

Posts, Towack, posts :-)

You share KS's belief about the Green's use of their funds to promote the referendum, so can hardly hope to have people believe that your comment (above) is unbiased, can you.
That said, most posts do have a bias, and when political parties are the topic, I'm biased toward the Greens. You'll be knocked over backwards by that news!

Still thinking....my beef wasn't that KS's post was biased, it was that it's fantastical - he's drifted far from reality. Personally, I like what he's done there and the direction he's taking. I don't think the everyday New Zealander will swallow that spin about the Greens misusing their funds. People will, I believe, think, the Greens are giving us a chance to register our views. Good on them :-)

RG you have a problem when even the editorial writers in the lame stream media agree that the Greens are rorting the system. It clearly is a political positioning campaign for 2014.

Paranormal

Does your fellow Councillor know you talk about him in such a way in a public forum?

Oh look Robert - one of my stalkers has jumped from my blog on to yours.

Welcome to the world of veiled legal threats that i have been subjected to for the last 18 months!

(i know it is the same person because they made an exit from my blog via this link just prior to the above comment being made)

Have fun with that nutter Robert. Don't worry - you have Judge Harvey's ruling as a defence in the event that someone actually works out which Councillor you are talking about and said Councillor is mental enough to take you to court! ;)

Thanks, Jacqueline...I think! The anonymous claim makes no sense whatsoever, so I've dismissed it out of hand. Hope you've done the same.

paranormal - you're suggesting I should regard highly the warblings of two 'lame stream' editors?
How does that work?
