Taurima thrashes Bennett

Sick of Paula Bennet's smarmy, bullish, talking-down, self-promoting spoutings about the appalling youth unemployment situation that has 83 000 young New Zealand's left idle, without prospect of work?
If so, you'll enjoy Shane Taurima's 'interview' on Q&A. He flays the puffed-up minister and keeps her from spinning her usual tripe (can tripe be spun? Yes, Bennett does it regularly) and holds her to 'the specifics' of when those young people can expect to get jobs.
"I'm not willing to say" - Paula Bennett.

That was pehaps the lamest moment of the whole interview, bsprout. "It's 83 000 now, yes, but it'd be 20 000 higher than that if it weren't for the orsome work I've been doing!"

The Greens must still accept responsibility for the high level of unemployment. It was your MP's rabidly expounding the benefits of doing away with youth rates that has priced young inexperienced workers out of a job.

I've now seen the interview, and wonder if we were watching the same one? Taurima showed yet again why he is just not up to the big job. Taurima was just not listening and honing his attack accordingly.

Bennett has just given a master class in how you handle ignorant one dimensional interviewing.
