Carbon-free voting

I know a woman who rode her horse to the polling booth.
It's called 'walking the talk'.

Just how carbon friendly is a horse?
I would say they make a factory farmed dairy cow look green

I walked, now that is green, although that was not my vote

Word verification; trudgq

trudgq - ha!

The greeness of a horse? It's debatable, though this one seems friendly enough and I haven't heard of anyone riding a dairy cow to the booths!
I too walked, 20 minutes away, not having a horse at my disposal. I could have cycled, but I was wearing my best suit (grand occasion.)

To cut a long story short, Ray, the main defence mechanism used by horses is flight. To achieve this they have a quite different digestive system to cows, much lighter and more efficient. Importantly, a horse produces about 30% of the methane of a cow.
Unlike cars, horses run on 100% biofuel.

If the green rosette had been on the other end of the horse, the Green Party could have been prosecuted for distributing policy statements on Election Day
