Plum, nashi, flowering currant and cherry blossoms are filling up my garden now.
Bee-activity is still quiet as temperatures are low, but soon the place will be a-buzzin'.
The last two flowers aren't blossoms of course. The yellow is an old fashioned daff and the crimson, crimson clover but they too are out.

I've gotta buy some big Cherry trees from down your way Robert, looks like I may be too late to get them before flowering.
Is it warm down there???????
Everything up here is about a month behind schedule.
We've just finished out tree sale Shunda. We didn't have cherries this time but nectarines and apricots, medlar and fig, apples and plums all sole out. The pigeons have been hammering all the blossom as it comes out but the blossom has won easily - there's masses of it! The plums are weighed down with it! Amazing.
It's kinda balmy and warm on some days but it fluctuates and we have cold snaps. Today is mild. Kowhai flowers have been out for a while and they are heavy too. There are tiny birds amongst the plum blossom all the time. Might be waxeyes, can't see from here.
global warming causing havoc in Riverton?
Not really jabba. How about up your way?
