The ad they didn't want you to see

And you'll soon see why!
It's agitprop and going viral so I'll play my part.
Here's the link to the 'choke choke!' pro orangutan, anti Fonterra ad that will have you gagging.

But will it stop you drinking milk that you haven't squeezed yourself Robert?

That was pretty disgusting to watch Robert - I'm grateful that I as an empowered consumer can make the purchase of milk which best supports the cows, myself and the environment! This is the best way to give Fonterra a very clear message that their product is not for consumption!

I just wanted to say Robert - thank you for bringing these truths into our awareness through your blog. You're certainly the man for the 'hot seat' on the Environment Southland Council. All the best for the elections tomorrow - you've done our country proud.

Inventory - my milk comes from 'sources other than Fonterra' and ones I know the details of. One thing I know they don't do is feed palm kernel to their cows.
Do the ad make you think about orangutans, rainforest and the effects of Fonterra's practices here in NZ?
Hope so.

Poppy - thanks very much for your supportive comments. I hope there is a seat being warmed for me in there - I'm ready to plonk myself down into it if there is! (Maybe I'll be on my feet more than sitting back - who can say :-)

Is there any milk that is produced for the local market that isn't Fontera?
Westland Dairy is not part of the "mother" company but all their milk is turned to powder and exported.
Are there any brands that don't have Orangutan pubes in them?

Shunda - we get ours from Retro Organic or from Organic Acres - A1 organic pasture-fed cows, milked by virginal Amish girls to the sound of lutes and zithers.
Tastes too good to describe, but I'll try...
Nah, can't!
