Your Vote

There's a website specially made for showcasing the candidates for the local body elections. The Environment Southland page is here.
On the page you are able to ask each and every candidate questions, as sticky, thorny, patsy or prickly as you like!
I hope you will use the opportunity to grill us all. I'm up for it, so if you have a moment, visit the site and throw me a curly one.
So far, no questions have been posted.
It's disappointing ...

My question is: Why do your priorities, under the 'list your five..]' heading, number only four?

No actually I must be the first with; 'How does the way you have campaigned reflect the way you value the environment?'

Also one of my parents has offered billboard space on her front lawn on Pomona street (same street as Fernworth school)

Bio - your Pomona parent is a sweetie (is she? Seems to be!)
I'd be delighted to accept her offer and will talk with an artist friend of mine :-) about a hand-crafted board that would reflect the atmosphere that I experienced on my visit to Fernworth School yesterday.
Please pass on my thanks and tell her I'll be in touch.
As to your question - why 4, I say 'under promise, over deliver'. I have, in truth, more than 5 priorities, so 4 is the number I have chosen to describe.
Your second question is such a patsy and I thank you for it :-)
Anyone who has seen me struggling against a headwind as I pedal my trailer-towing bill-board bicycle will have some idea of what you mean.
I might get some credit too, for having an on-line campaign running well (I think it is!) and not adding to the wasteful pamphlet-paper stream.
Plus I'm not burning any coal in the pursuit of votes - is that the kind of thing you were thinking of?
