Telling headline

Here's a blunt headline that points to Environment Southland's efforts to require users to pay for what they use, from talented SiT journalist Joseph Aldridge.

Irrigators, industry and farmers add opposition to ES water plan

Joseph's online piece begins -

"Environment Southland’s proposed water monitoring charges are unfair, flawed and out of kilter with other regions, farmers groups and some large industries say."

and is a hard-hitting description of just who wields influence in the south.
What do you think?
I find Joseph's work very well crafted and 'on the button' in fields that I regard important.
Well done that man!

'unfair, flawed and out of kilter with other regions' -getting that feedback is the first sign that you are about to do something good for the environment.

Invite him to the Estuary Festival on Monday.

Good suggestion Bioneer. I'll do that and ask him to bring his pencil and paper (and camera).
If the weather's at least fair to middling, it'll be an unforgettable night!
There's to be a surprise appearance from a figure from the 'arts world', it's rumoured!
You'll be there no doubt.
