Political question of the naive sort

My question around the 'credit card scandal' is:

If Phil Goff has punished three of his MP's for misuse of tax payer money by demoting them,
why hasn't John Key done the same with his?
Bill English's grin must be a mile wide, as must that of Tim Groser.

Blinglish: rorts hundreds of thousands. Reluctantly fronts and repays a fraction, and Key's changes leave him no worse off.
Labour's ministers. Probably like predecessors, pay for private matters on the work credit card on trips then repay on return. Get a bollocking from a media intent on a beat up.

One of our political parties seems intent on gutting the other aj.
Ever been to Dipton?
It's very quiet there. No one home at Bill's place, last time I passed by.

You need to get the address of your blog into a letter to editor of the to the Sthland Times - to get yourself more onto Southland's blog-followers map.
Ref Dipton, yes even some of his supporters find his milking of the system hard to stomach.

aj - thanks for that - I'd love it if readers of the 'letters to the editor' column were also blog-followers, but I'm not sure that is the case! I do appreciate your encouragement though and understand the frustrations felt by those who would like to support Bill but find his behaviour over his accommodation galling. I hope that commentors like yourself will 'pass on' my blog-address and encourage people to read and comment on these issues in a space where freedom of speech is highly regarded.
And thanks, btw, for your comments. I appreciate them very much.
I will advertise my blog through the 'paper' media soon and hope that will open a whole new level of comment.
