News that whales are 'doing their bit' in the fight against climate change, pooing for victory in the oceans of the world, could be a big help in Pete Bethune's case in the Japanese courts.Previously cast as emission-villians, turns out whales are pulling carbon from the atmosphere rather than putting it out there with their spouting ways and they're doing it by pooing it! The phytoplankton that are stimulated into reproducing madly by the presence of a super food source, whale poo, are the source of the excitement that scientists looking at carbon capture processes in the ocean are expressing and their findings could swing Pete's case in a direction that could have him home before too long.
Hopefully, it's a dung deal.

Kia ora Robert,
Don't think the Japanese would appreciate the whales shitting all over their dubiuos justifucations. Came over from Marty's place. Excellent work.
Cheers,
Robb
Hey Robb
For one so young (judging from your avatar), you're very wise for your age and thanks for your comment. Mars 2 Earth is a blog I read every day for a refreshingly straight look at nga mea i te taha Maori.
I fear you are right - it's going to take more than revelations about the value of whale manure to swing the Japanese.
Make them pay the difference in carbon-credits and back-date it adding interest as well.
I can just here them thinking Bioneer,
"Oh crap!"
