Feline good about that anon! I wouldn't call the other councillors 'pigeons' though. There are many there who have the health of the Southland environment at the top of their list as I do.
Well Toad, that would be a bridge too far for us pragmatic Southland types! Canterbury may have succummed to Government pressure but down here we know that our regional council is a good one and can't be accussed of disfunctionality, as Ecan was. It would take a mighty effort indeed to convince Southlanders otherwise. I thoroughly enjoy your work on the political blog you inhabit btw. You are very well researched and have your toady fingers right on the pulse.
