Mark Solomon, Ngai Tahu Kaiwhakahaere seems to be saying, on behalf of iwi katoa, no to the Governments Foreshore and Seabed offer and that the f&s presently owned privately should be returned to its previous state.
If this is in fact his position, it’s a significant and powerful statement by Maori and should be making the news in a very big way, yet I read nothing about it.
Perhaps our big newspapers are asleep?
