On a blazing hot day like today, these two sheep find the only shade they can find, under the two trees I planted in their paddock 10 years ago. Not my paddock, not my sheep but I'm happy to have been of service to the poor beasts.
It's the little things.
The sheep here in East Otago were kept cool by the gentle mist that drifted over for most of the day. The sun appeared briefly mid afternoon to say a quick hello and that it couldn't stay because it was spending the holidays in Southland.
He was here all day, corokia green and looks to be coming back tomorrow. I'll put in a good word for you though and perhaps he'll drop by in the new year.
