Could this be true?

The Standard reports:

"Word is out that National is going to slam through the sale of its Air NZ shares early next week ahead of the referendum. No mention of ‘mum and dad’ investors this time. No ad campaign imploring you get ‘get your share’. Nope. It’ll be a quick and dirty sale to some big institution which will then divvy it up to other institutions. We might not even be told until after the fact."

Could this be true?

Maybe Sir Michael Fay wants it back so he can asset strip it again then sell it back to the taxpayers to rebuild. There hasnt been much in the way of multi million deals given away for a while for the hawks to pounce on. Tho spose there is not a lot left when you think about it. The energy companies are not quick dollar earners so they will be getting impatient.

Ah! That's alright then. I thought it might have been something sneaky, low and underhand.

How can you describe it as that when NZ gives knighthoods for such behaviour.
We celebrate the devious white collar criminals because the underpinning value in todays society is greed. The bigger the greed the bigger the recognition. How you get it of what you contribute is secondary. Greed is good or in Colin Craigs world greed is god.

Here's a simple decision making tool to help you answer the question posed in the title of the post. It's not guaranteed to work all the time, but it should be more than 80% accurate.
Step 1 - Is it bad news?
Step 2 - Is it something to do with the National Party?.
If the answers to both questions are "Yes", then it probably is true. Otherwise it's probably false.

Now I'm really puzzled, having always believed that knights were noble, I mean Arthur, didn't he demolish the 'might is right' thinking way back when? Surely there hasn't been a resurgence? Perhaps we need to forge a new round table. Bags being Sir Gawain.

AC - your cynicism knows no bounds. Your place at the table is assured.

Ugh, no thanks. The best thing about royalty is that they almost never visit.
