Fairfield
Last night's talk to the Fairfield Garden Club was fun. We got to judge the 'Best Blue Flower' competition also, and the iris won. This morning, it's packing up a room in a student flat and taking it home to Riverton, along with the young woman who previously occupied taua ruma. It's not raining in Dunedin, making the task a lot easier. Many a parent before me, I'm guessing, will have packed up the chairs, desks and beds of their offspring while the southern rains pelted down upon them, so I count myself lucky. I could still though, put my back out lifting some heavy thing, or slip and take an unexpected tumble down Peel Street while loading the Sceptre. In any case, Year One at Otago University is over for Hollie. Let the holiday fun begin!
