Robert Winter gracefully expresses what so many of us feel about this Government and it's disregard for the environment. Robert draws our attention to the appalling situation in the Ross Sea and National's determination to continue the pillaging of those once-pristine waters in the name of greed.
Robert writes:

"I do not trust the Key Government on the environment. I will be honest about this. Its attempts to mine the Conservation Estate, and its off-shore oil-drilling approach (somewhat interesting in the context of the "Rena"), and its approach to water resources, and much more, have made it clear that it favours commercial exploitation of resources over conservation, and, when you look at the responsible ministers, you understand why."
