The Arch Druid reframes the climate debate, addresses the phenomenon of flip-flopping science and makes cat-herding sound easy.
" Herding cats is one of the easiest things in the world. All you have to do is go to the place you want the cats to go, carrying with you a #10 can of tuna and an electric can opener. The moment the cats hear the whirr of the can opener and smell the fragrance of the tuna, they’ll come at a run, and you’ll have your herd exactly where you want them."
His news of the release of a new book isn't good.
His advice to realists is.
Coincidentally, Red Logix commenting at The Standard points to this excellent description on how debates are won and lost, something discussed by the Druid in his 'cats' post also.

Robert, this guy is the real deal.
I love that "light bulb" moment feeling when you suddenly realise 'that's it!!'
BJ linked to a banking video that had that effect a few days ago, and now this! a productive week so far.
I feel some heavy duty pondering coming on......
You'll be needing a wee sit-down and a cuppa Shunda!
Next you'll be singing Hone's praises :-)
I've been watching the fractional debate for a long time now, trying to grasp the implications ... somethings I'm willing to accept and support even though I couldn't explain the details to an audience, simply because the people promoting it have proved their integrity and depth of knowledge - bj's a clever dude when it comes to banking.
