Invercargill Farmers' Market

It wasn't so chilly, standing in the sun and close beside the brick building inside the quadrangle of Boy's High where the city's farmers' market is held, pressing visitors to the indoor/outdoor market to take one of my 'vote for me' flyers. People were very polite and many expressed enthusiasm for my effort to gain a seat on the council. I was even able to prevent a minor disaster as I stood there, when I scooped a child out of the path of an elderly cyclist, who clearly hadn't seen the wee lass wander across his intended path. Hope her Mum votes for me :-)
