Growing on a tree given to us in our first year here in our Riverton forest garden, these plums failed to appear until this year, at which point they appeared en masse and in full delicious mode. My daughter, Hollie arranged for the harvesting (her mum and dad did the hard graft) and created this lovely dessert to feature the very sweet and tasty plums and we dutifully ate it all up!
