After a superbly fine early spring, the end of the season has become sodden. We've had rain for days now, with sunny spells in between, and the ground is far from dry. From the point of view of a plant guy, this is lovely, as everything green is lapping it up and pushing toward the sky, but visitors to the area will be wishing for a return to summery conditions we enjoyed earlier. Today's raindrops seem especially large and it'll be fun to stay indoors for the day. I'll take the opportunity though, to transplant seedlings from trays to pots, as the atmosphere suits that transfer perfectly.
