Elephant-ear-ish


The leaves on my paulownia. It's reaching for the sky. I believe this is the southern-most in all the land.

They were going to be the new pinus radiate a few years back. Didn't they come from China where they showed exceptional growth properties.

Yes, but not down this far south, I'm betting. Mine took 3 years o hit its straps, but now it's rocketting up! The wood is very light, almost a balsa, I read. The flower is spectacular, as are the leaves.
