Outed by Dirty Politics

viii. Keeping Stock @Inventory2
The true identity of Keeping Stock, who was previously known only to be a Wanganui businessman, was revealed in Dirty Politics. Keeping Stock also runs a blog by the same name and is a very frequent tweeter, blog commenter and cheerleader for the right.

I wouldn't call Keeping Stock / Inventory2 / Tony Stuart a "cheerleader for the right".

I would call him a very insecure man who has most likely been unpopular / lacked friends / been bullied in his real life who found some kind of validation and sense of belonging in being accepted by the cancerous poison that is Cameron Slater and his WhaleArmy of bullies while completely abandoning his own Christian values that he harps on about non stop.

GroupThink is another interesting psychological phenomenon that could apply to all of Slater's so-called Christian followers - of which there are many. Some even refer to themselves as leaders in the Christian community - yet use Slater to get their revenge on people with whom they hold grudges.

I myself identify as Christian - and their behaviour is almost enough to make me feel ashamed of that.

Not quite - but almost.

James 1:19-20

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Very interesting comment, Jacqueline and very interesting times we find ourselves in. Mr Stuart must be feeling very uncomfortable indeed, now that his identity has been exposed, particularly given that today is Sunday. Members of his church won't have known, but God always has :-)

I did notice that immediately after the release of "Dirty Politics" Tony blogged that he was considering winding down Keeping Stock. "Taking a sabatical" is the term i believe he used.

The reference to Tony in the book shows him taking great enjoyment out of and encouraging Cameron Slater to destroy the life of Simon Pleasants based on false information supplied by Judith Collins. Tony was happy to cheer along with the death threats to Simon, Simon's wife, and Simon's children.

Never did he say "this is wrong".

You cannot tell me that even one of those "Christian" disciples of Slater's didn't know how evil he is and how wrong encouraging that kind of behaviour is. They chose to involve themselves with Slater regardless, for their own personal, sinful, and worldly benefits.

The fact that people like Tony et al. preach in church every week and spout about their righteous Godliness all over their blogs leaves little doubt in my mind in terms of why Christians are given such a bad name in this country.

That's pretty sick, isn't it, Jacqueline.
The things he says have made me feel very uncomfortable for as long as I've 'known' him.
