Education is a weakness for National, and it's likely that they will be attacked on it during the election campaign. No doubt this quote will be used, possibly to great effect (if Labour can organise a focussed campaign and not stuff it up like they did in 2011).
Labour's campaign seems suddenly to have become very focussed, very effective and very enjoyable to observe. Minimum wage, everyone? Respectful behaviour in the House? Smaller classes, mum and dad?
They've found their sweet spot and Cunliffe is delivering with perfect pitch. Matt, are you there? Well done, mate.

It could work - if they had someone other than Cunliffe leading it. The public have already seen him to be less than genuine.
