Keep calm

I hope our wonderful relationship isn't going to end up on the rocks Robert. What have you done to upset Pauline. Saw this on another blog (Whatever)
Gave a talk at the local Rotary last week about the south and introduced myself as another opinionated southlander. Someone came up later and said they enjoyed listening to a passionate southlander. Perhaps Pauline needs some passion.

Rbert Guyton would have a few good stories. I imagine he has broken up with most people he has meet.

That's not our Pauline, Philip. Some clever-clogs from down this way is using a faux identity he believes to be clever. Our Pauline is not a lick-spittle Tory, in the way that imposter is :-)
I'd have liked to hear your talk.
I don't follow your last sentence.

The last sentence was the copy of the blog. The spelling may be a clue haha

Me ol' mate, jabs!
I don't read Homepaddock any more.
Don't visit.
Don't care.
Guess I'm over it :-)

Jabs'll miss me though...

I understood that vervain was no good to drink if you are a woman who is pregnant and wants to be. I'm with you on the HP thing, the motivation to spend some of my waking hours hanging out with people I don't like has vanished. However, it seems likely to return one day.

...and with regard to the last part of my comment - I still go to work; one of the joys of working in a company with 10,000+ employees is that there is bound to be someone to not like there. At least I get paid ridiculously well to hang out there.

If everyone agreed with you Robert life would be a dull shade of grey. The clash of ideas is what makes life full or colours. The only thing we need then is a thick skin and sense of humour.

If every one agreed with me, Philip, life would be a glorious kaleidoscopic splash of colour!
'Course, I'm brimming over with self-confidence and would say that.

That is why humour is so important. We know we are right and the issue is why don't the rest of the people? But again when we used to visit Cherry Farm many years ago it was apparent they all thought we were strange. mmmm
