The poll questioned 824 eligible voters

It is a small sample size for a Roy Morgan poll, however that is no reason to dismiss its findings. Unfortunately there do not seem to be any good reasons to dismiss the findings.
What it says is that while National may (or may not) be doing a sh*t job of governing, Labour are doing an even worse job of being the opposition. Ignoring the result, and the previous three or four polls, would be foolish.

Indeed. I've not dismissed it at all, but was genuinely surprised at the sample size.
Labour is really letting us Greens down and there's nothing new in that.

Labour is letting down:
Their voters,
Their allies,
The tens to hundreds of thousands of non-voters who probably would vote Labour, if they had a reason to vote.
The rest of my comment is unprintable descriptions of my opinion of the Labour party, except the bit that goes "or at least that is my take on recent poll results".

Incompetence or design?
