Hazels, kauri and ponds
The nuts are forming successfully on my hazels. My kauri is growing more strongly this year than ever before. The azolla on my pond is spreading rapidly. I added 5 tadpoles today.

There was a food show on TV last night about eating green cob nut( another name for hazel nuts) not much more advanced than yours, certainly green
Said to taste pleasantly miky, worth a try and in my case a drive out to my old planting just for a taste
I didn't know about that, Ray. I may eat those three. I've been having a lot of success growing hazels from nuts. They pop up in their own sweet time, but keep on coming as fast as I can pot them up.
