Not sure, Ray. I couldn't get close and thought it was a silver poplar or something similar. That said, central Otago was all blossom and the cherries were in flower all over the show. Plums too and well behind ours on the south coast. Their apple trees were behind also. We experienced a frost on the morning we were there, so that might explain why.
