The BERL report for Southland

The story so far...
Mr Cave claimed that I hadn't provided positive suggestions for increasing Southland's prosperity, in my numerous letters to the editor of the Southland Times.
I offered one in response; that he read the BERL report presented to an appreciative audience in Invercargill last week in which all manner of researched suggestions were made that would bring the region the prosperity Jack Murrell earlier declared we 'deserve'.
Mervyn Cave didn't think much of my suggestion and proceeded, with today's follow-up letter, to criticise and belittle the report, and me for good measure, ending his curmudgeonly diatribe with the claim,
"Robert Guyton may be excited to discover the bleeding obvious. I don't think anybody else reading this report will be."

Unfortunately for Mervyn, the two letters preceding his in today's column waxed very enthusiastic indeed over the report, casting Mervyn's words into the form of an edible hat.

Robert,
I am the the Anonymous who made the request for the terms of reference given to Berl from the WWF.

Because I am having problems getting comments to appear or stay on your site, methinks you have been having an easy ride these last few weeks.

Colin McNtyre.

I was the anon who asked for the terms of reference. I take it RG you have no idea.

I am unsure as to why my numerous comments over the last 6 weeks do not remain on your blog.

I find this odd.

Colin - I've no idea what's happening. I'll duck away now and see if they are trapped in the spam folder, or in fact if they appeared at all. I haven't seen any comments from you appear then disappear, so perhaps...actually, I haven't a clue. Back soon.

Yes, Colin, that's where they were lodged, multiple copies of your requests. I've no idea why and don't know how to fix that. I apologies for the inconvenience. Maybe try using Name/URL instead of Anonymous?
