Empty bank

Poor bank staff! Turfed out of their historical building and relocated to some makeshift cabins around the corner, in order to carry on their banking business - and in this weather!
The old bank building has cracks sufficiently serious to cause someone; insurers or 'earthquake people' to require them to abandon bank for the sake of their health and that of their clients. So the building stands, all forlorn, on the corner of Palmerston and Napier streets, crumbling internally and safe-keeping not a single cent.

Did you seriously fall for the 'crack in the wall' story. What a great excuse for ANZ to shut down one of those 'not so profitable' branches and stick to core business, which is of course transfering NZ's wealth into Ozzie banks.

Wait for it...

Yep, I did, 'cause I saw it. You could be right though, step one, temporarily close, step two, exit the town. Time to reinstate the 'Riverton Clam' trading system.
