Today, it's autumnal

The air is warm though, oddly warm. The leaves have turned, as you can see, but the temperatures are still  up where you'd expect them to be a month ago. The ocean has cooled though, the surfers tell me, so there's no question that the seasons aren't still rotating in the manner they always have - the clock hasn't stopped, nor has the wheel of life stalled. Thank goodness for that.
From my verandah.

The colours were great around Hanmer springs where we just spent 4 days with the kids.

I got a fancy new camera and captured some nice autumnal tones.

Such a nice spot up there.

Though I did damage me self on the water slidey tubey thingame!

Kind of, I also got told off for going down the "superbowl" with a double tube instead of the single.

I was trying to get more speed and assumed more flotation would assist.

I pretended I didn't know the rules..he he..

Pleading ignorance, Shunda?

Something you've gotten down to a fine art :-)
