It's all that made it this year and even then, looks diminutive. I won't cast nasturtiums though - it's also the only, ever.
Next year, I'll expect more, or it'll be out with the loppers.

Loppers? I got a now 'tri blade' for my scrub cutter, have been turning black berry and gorse into sawdust all afternoon.
You should try one of those! ;)
new tri blade.
Now, must be the fumes.
The fumes sure are a selling point, Shunda, but I don't know...and by the by, blackberry sawdust?
Can't say I ever saw any of that. The trunks of your blackberry trees must be huge!
They are Robert!!
On the Coast one often hears the cry; "TIMBER" when a lofty Blackberry is cut down.
The thorns are like Tyrannosaurus teeth!!
I'd like to see the berries.
You should see the grubs that eat the berries!!
When people on the Coast say they are making black berry jam they really mean it, one black berry, one jar of jam!
Imagine biting into one and discovering you'd eaten half of one of those (grubs that is!)
And getting a seed stuck between your teeth must be hell.
I haven't even told you about those (normally) little tiny red spider mites yet.
Seen land crabs?
