An afternoon in the country

Needing some apples from an old farm orchard, I drove out of town into the green that is Southland's pastoral farmland. With my camera at the ready, I scanned the side roads, road sides, lanes and paddocks for anything interesting. I found a double pile of sawdust beside a rusty-roofed shed, an ancient apple tree that had been barked by too-hungry sheep, and in an almost empty shed, a old iron bed-head with owls as it's theme. Curious.

I just spent an evening on the town with some friends for our 13th wedding anniversary.

And now I have the hiccups. My wife is laughing with every convulsing yelp!!

Ah tiz morning indeed!

No headache for me, I don't like hangovers and I finnally figured out what causes them........disco music!!

Strictly rock music now.

Might take the family for a picnic before the rain arives.

Stalled a little while we organise the Harvest festival. I'll be back into it soon after I've painted the west wall, no worries.
Sad to hear you've given up on the disco - you had all the moves!
