Up and about early, to foo-foo around in the garden before it gets too hot to be outside.
The growth of my corn, planted among the alkanet and clover, is beginning to accelerate and I'm hopeful of fat ears.
This shaggy cabbage tree stands watch over the brassica garden, keeping the easterly winds off the turnips and swedes.
Some people dislike convolvulus, but I am not one of those. It's a soft vine, easy to clear and the granny's bonnets are pretty.
I caught an up-early bumble bee enjoying a mullien flower.
And lastly, my daughter's garden. It's great to have a daughter who gardens.
