What's today good for?
Chopping silage, if activities around the countryside are anything to go by.
I'm doing something similar, mulching down my paths - pulling 'erbs and laying them down as tread for anyone who might like to wander barefoot through the orchard. I've cultivated today too, in the morning before the heat built up to what it is now - excessive! There's a breeze though, and it's very pleasant out there. I'm off again, to lay down another path from the nashi to the walnut, by-passing the sloe, the Gloria Mundi and the Irish strawberry tree. This evening, it's sowing time and I've got three seedbeds waiting expectantly for that tender attention.
