My main worry with leeks has been the price; I've seen them for between $3 and $4 in the supermarket. That makes my collection in the garden worth more than $100. Or did you mean leaks?
That's a valuable crop, AC, and one that'll save you more than just money. Celery, for example, is both expensive and highly sprayed, at the supermarket. Growing your own makes so much sense. Yes, I leeks are 'leaks' and I laughed when I read it.
Fantastic, Shunda! The Barundas will love their summer on the high seas, so long as their dad isn't too derring-do! One thing that you surely do need in the boat, is a bung. A bungless Sunburst is no fun at all (experience speaking).

Leeks yes.
Well I just purchased and awesome sunburst yacht and I hope it doesn't have leeks growing inside!

It's got two bungs!!!
The boys are very excited (mum looks slightly concerned).
It was an excellent deal, 800 bucks for a boat ready to sail, trailer, racing rigging/deck gear, near new main, spinnaker and quite a few extras.
It appears to be a more racing orientated boat, whether we race it or not I am not sure, but we are sure gonna have a lot of fun!
Beware the Swinging Boom, my son!
Good buy! Good fun!
