Bear with me

I've been out all morning, wandering around a lignite pit. In this case, the pit is a thing of beauty, as it's been discontinued and beautified, with ponds and plantings. A great site for a wedding ceremony in fact. There were flowers there, gloriously coloured, and oddities in the form of children's playground 'equipment', partially restored farm machinery and some perkily territorial swans. Here are some of the images I collected.

The penultimate photo is excellent, thanks Robert.
I'm concerned about the last photo, though, the angle seems to have exaggerated the length of the horses nose. A paranoid narcissist might think you were suggesting the horse is somehow linked to John Key, who also has a long nose.
