Jabba rates my blog!

It's sometimes difficult to win over people who hold views that run contrary to ones own, but today I was awarded high praise from an old Turkish adversary of mine, jabba (meaning, I think, thrice cursed), who made this comment, and I blush, on the blog Keeping Stock,

"I checked his blog a few times and it was devoid of any debate about anything just photos of bees on a window-sill and bugs."

Feeling a little warm and tingly from that, jabba. Spent some time looking through a photo abum from way back when we first met, and found this lovely shot of you.
You'll not mind me sharing it with my single follower? (she's blind and only visits my blog once a year, but who knows, she might stumble upon it.)

Robert, this is uncanny. It's exactly how I pictured Jabba too. The thing I find most remarkable is how there is nothing positive about the party Inv2 adores on the KS blog. He spends all his time in what can only be described is a depressing funk of bitchiness about others. Same goes for Jabba. Now all the blogoshphere needs is a pic of Inv2 so we can see for ourselves the man who claims to be christian yet does not act that way at all!

Jabs! You're friggin gorgeous..whoddathort?

Many's the time Jab has mourned the absence of Rob on KS; He'll be well gutted now but putting on a brave face. We could learn a lot from those Turks.sserch

Gibber - uncanny's the word of the day here! Jabba rang! His voice sounds just the way he looks. Mind you, the photo is old. Jabs, by his own admission, has let himself go and can no longer be regarded as 'handsome'. Nor 'rugged' neither. More crumpled. Still, he's a barell of laughs and you can't ask for more than that in a migrant, far from his own shores.
As to KS, I've lost my desire to broker change here. I failed to make any sort of dent in that 'depressing funk of bitchiness' you so aptly describe. I can't fathom its source. It's foreign territory to me and I admire your continued engagement on that battlefield of ideas, strewn as it is, with the corpses of those who tried to shed light, etc, etc.
You are not alone there Gibber, and that's encouraging. There are stout men and true, all proudly named and clearly erudite and nimble of mind. I'll continue to read, for their sake, and hope for a revelation :-)

Fred, provoke not the Gibber.
He's slain before.

Suz - yes, that is jab's brave face!
He once showed me his angry face and I fell to the floor in hysterics and beat about the carpet til I was burned head to foot.
I think of jabby as the goldfish I never had.

Rawleighs for your burns...it's magic stuff..I've invited Inv & co. to come shark patting with me, given it was such a joke when the Greens did it to the extent it was worthy of a caption contest.

I'll take my camera!

You're visiting Paula Bennett's electorate office!!
Suz. Go well.

Awww...i like Jabba!

Didn't get why the shark photo was worthy of a caption contest though....

You are missed over at KS. Not nearly as funny now!

Thanks for the warning, Rg.
Hey, Gibber - no over here - no this way, oh well, never mind. Another day perhaps.

Fred, you should meet Gibber's sister, Ellen. She's a tall drink of water!

My life is "full" of women already - loverly wife, four gorgeous daughters, and until recently, a delightful female pussycat. The only other male in the house was a 'neutered' tomcat!!!!!!

This explains a great deal, Fred.
My household too, is filled with the gloriousness that is woman.
