He's shut up shop til the election and battened down the hatches to repel challenges to his National Party shenanigans! My old mate, Inv2 has gone doggo and won't have anyone gainsay his beloved John Keys. He's drawn the curtains on comments and turned on the censoring 'moderation' function on his blog.
Something has rattled the timorous fellow.
Comments here however, remain open, so if there's anything you'd like to say to Mr 2, feel free.
Brothers in arms, us bloggers :-)

The Right in general is deeply concerned about ACT's demise, NZ First's rise in the polls and National's mis-steps. Mr Key is walking on egg-shells, we hear, and I think that we can expect to see a lot of careful behaviour this week.
Hi INV2!
Free speech but only if I say so huh?
Sounds remarkably similar to John's take on suppression of information. We'll let you know what we want you to know.
This is a good read with regards to the law (by proper lawyers no less!) on the tapes.
Truth will out. http://www.medialawjournal.co.nz/?p=525
John also says now Kiwis support asset sales. He must be 'refuting' the 'FACTS' and the 'EVIDENCE' that akshully, most do not support this lie.
Professor Gluckman must be beside himself that this guy turned out how he did.
Didnt take long Robert - just another hack at John Key - those poor gardens are second best now. hhhmmnnn must be an election in full swing.
This is well done: http://hipstersforgoldsmith.bandcamp.com/track/goldsmiths-theme
Animal, there is an election in full swing. Well spotted. There is also some terrible policy that needs pruning from the incumbent government. And some from Greens/Labour and others that needs to be nurtured.
Else we'll end up in an arid NZ, devoid of the seeds of good ideas.
Robert - you have it right. With 'Mr I Refute' walking on eggshells, I do hope no one startles him! They do say you can't make an omlette...
Anonymous - it's a serious disease infecting the righteous. No matter. There's still fun to be had and this week's shaping up to be a doozy! The Labour letters? Fake or faux? Who knows?
Big pro-asset sales feature in today's Southland Times. At least the persnnial 'Cannabis is Evil' feature hasn't appeared this time around, either in the rags or on the screen. We are thankful for small wonders.
perennial (I ought to know how to spell it - it's a perennial problem for me.)
'Hack', Animal?
Hack?
And can I add to the praise that Composter has piled upon your head, Animal?
We were keeping that jolly election secret!
There's no putting anything past you is there!
I join you, Fun'n'Games, in proclaiming, 'Go go Goldsmith!'
Composter - I do love how you claim Labour has policy that needs to be nurtured - we just got rid of the worst policy maker NZ has seen for a lifetime who is now sucking off the UN lifeline where all left wing whingers go to die.
I think the greens need to wake and and realise that working with the Nats is not so bad - yes there are differences - however the greens will always be a bridesmaid and never the bride and when your on the opposing benches your next to useless.
Actually animal I predict if the vote is high enough and it is a labour led coalition that the greens will be a major player in the next govt ...
I suggest Goff is a different character than Helen ..his principals I suggest are more important than politics ... this I predict will mean if the green vote is as high as polls suggest that their supporters will be happy with the outcome ( Peters might not be though :) !) Its why I would be very happy if he is Prime Minister after Saturday ..after Key show pony weak performance ( re the Times this morning and Keys part int eh Israeli episode )Goff will be a welcome change ..he has the aurora of experience ...a trust me I will lead you in you the communities best interest personality
