National have lost my vote so far this time around. They are lacking in decent policy and the competency to debate the things that matter. As some commentators have suggested, this is theirs to lose, and they are doing a great job of exactly that.

OTOH Labour has developed some excellent policy. They seem like the government in waiting now, where once they were not effective opposition. I'd suggest that the media is portraying them in a more positive light now too. Good policy and campaigning mean even biased people take notice (if they are honest).

Good summation of today's situation, Larry.
As to your comment about 'biased people', amen to that.

I see you've been banned at Laughing Stock. How's that for hypocrisy. Just as the debates get interesting and Nats seem to be on the ropes.
I reckon the charge of 'trolling' is so far off the mark because all the points you've raised seem to be coming to fruition. INV2 appears to be as ostrich-like as he is cyclops-like.
Oh well, he is the blog owner. So much for letting his readers judge the commenters as they see fit. Quite nanny-blogish really. More hypocrisy!
Wonder if I could rustle up a ban by bringing up counter arguments to his 'open forum'?

Mr Quay, as always, I appreciate your efforts. The ban is kinda weird, quite frankly and I suspect the collapse of Mr 2's messianic figure over the past fortnight has taken a terrible toll on him. I certainly encourage you to poke that borax willy-nilly and will watch with great interest. If it were me, I'd be cranking up the volume for the next two weeks.

Ha.

Such as??

It is amazing how many people will respond to lolly scramble politics.

Labour will not govern this country for at least another 2 terms of government.

They are in a shambles internally, and are still basically functioning as the 'cult of Helen Clark' and until this changes, they will remain irrelevant.

Not a good thing in my opinion, but it is the reality that few on the left want to acknowledge.
But until they do, the rebuild won't even start.
