Out and about this weekend, from Otautau through Nightcaps, through to Dunedin and Ravensbourne. Here are some of the things that caught my eye.
Firstly and most numinous to me, a dropped sucker on the footpath along George Street.
This King and Queen pair peered royally from a balcony in the Octagon.
A botanical painting on the wall of a school office.
This flag waved as we passed.
And this limber fellow streched his hamstrings in the middle of the road, oblivious to traffic!
Tinkerbell whispered something conspiratorial into Pete's ear in the park, while Nana looked concerned.
In Dunedin they wrap the trunks of their cabbage trees against the chill.
Lucky wreck at an Otautau car yard.
And finally, a fence, with trees, at Nightcaps.
I took many more, but will save those for later.
