Breaking news

Howie's morphing has begun!
I received this email just now.

Hi Robert

Yesterday was Howie's last day as a HuHu Grub. This morning he is now Howie the HuHu Pepe. It's amazing what nature can do in just a few short hours (literally about 12 hours from when that last picture was taken). In the picture you can see his old skin cast off to the right and the formation of his new self. According to the www.teara.govt.nz this pupal stage will last about 25 days (though I am not sure from when the clock starts ticking), so it is possible that he is already a few days into it.

I shall keep you posted.

I was thinking of Aliens, or that thing in The Matrix that sent in via Neo's naval.
