The western end of our veranda is closed in with a window of coloured glass.
If you look through the red glass square in the corner as the sun is setting, you can see the world differently.

Those red glass windows get their colour from the gold used in their production. Did you know that? They are hellish hard to find these days and have mostly disappeared from the scene, except in older buildings.
I like the shot by the way.
So there's gold in them ther winders Wabe?
That's where it'll stay too. I'm not one for mining minerals just to line my pockets and in the process wrecking something beautiful.
