It was unpleasant watching the Warner Bros fat cats sweep into New Zealand and buy a change to our employment laws. New Zealanders probably thought, up until then, that laws here were made by New Zealanders, following a process that was free from corruption and the buying power of foreign corporations. The day Key sold our lawmaking process out to Warner Bros was sobering enough, but he's about to do it again, this time changing the law around gambling to accommodate the demands of the Auckland casino, Sky City.
So, if you are very, very wealthy and know of a law that's holding back the growth of your riches, go see John Key. He'll see you right.
